Alt Shift Lite Walkthrough

Alt Shift Lite is the perfect combination of the strategy, brain teaser and stickman genres of games with challenging levels to test your logic and your patience. In this game, you can play as either a boy or a girl who has been trapped inside a testing facility and is trying to escape. The demo version of the game offers fifteen demo levels although the first few levels are designed to help you get used to the game controls and learn how to navigate through the game although don't be surprised if you get stumped more than once in those first few levels. You need to think about every possible way to can approach any given obstacle both right side up and upside down as you can invert the game screen to navigate through the reverse side of the normal playing area. In many of the levels this is necessary to reach the exit to keep that in mind as you play. If something looks out of reach, see if you can reach it by inverting the screen.

As you progress you will find it necessary to drag blocks to cover spikes or reach higher platforms. Dragging can be a bit tricky if you are navigating with your arrow keys. If you are dragging the block left, you will need to hold down the right arrow key while you are holding down the space bar. Remember to always leave yourself room to jump on top of the block if you will need to do so. If not you don't you'll have to push and then drag the block again or you'll find yourself stuck and needing to reset the level and start from the beginning. Remember as well that when you are playing in the inverted game screen you will be able to fall through black blocks and when you are in the regular game screen you will be able to fall through white or clear blocks. This can be helpful or could lead to your certain demise on the spikes. Be careful.

Over all, this is a great game. Each level gets a bit harder with more switches and buttons that need to be pressed to get you in the right position. You will not always need to hit the arrows however, so be careful. Some of them are simply there to confuse you. See what direction the screen will turn before you turn it so you don't end up needing to reset the level. This game definitely keeps you on your toes and keeps challenging your mind to solve the puzzles. Well worth the time spent playing.
