Destrocity Walkthrough

Are you a fan of stick figure games? Destrocity is an action game where you play as a stickman giant on a destructive rampage through a city. Featuring superb graphics and animations, pulse-pounding music and sound effects, three modes of gameplay, and twenty-seven achievements, Destrocity is anything but mundane.

Destrocity features three modes of gameplay: Destruction Mode, Meteor Mode, and Sandbox Mode. Destruction mode is reminiscent of the classic arcade game, Rampage. You control a giant and must inflict as much destruction upon the city as possible. You can climb the city buildings and knock them to the ground. Be wary though, as the city's military will be sent to kill you. At the end of each day, you will be able to purchase upgrades to bolster your performance as well as special abilities. Destruction Mode is the primary mode of this stick game. All achievements are based on your performance in this mode.

In Destrocity, performing attacks costs stamina (as shown by the blue bar). Waiting and walking around regains stamina, but you can also eat people or military personnel to provide a stamina boost. Simply get in range of a person and press the E key to grab the person and consume them.

The E key is also used to perform special attacks (when you are in range). If you are climbing a building, the E key will cause you to perform a devastating elbow drop, slamming the ground below. The higher up you are, the more damaging the explosion will be. The E key also lets you pick up vehicles and vendors and throw them.

The second mode of gameplay is Meteor Mode. In this mode of gameplay, you control a flying base that launches meteors down upon the city and its inhabitants. You have thirty seconds to cause as much destruction as possible and try to earn a high score.

The final mode of gameplay in Destrocity is Sandbox Mode. To unlock Sandbox Mode, you must first score at least 20,000 points in Destruction Mode. Sandbox Mode is the same as Destruction Mode, but you start out with all skills unlocked and can respawn the world to destroy it all over again if you so desire.

The keyboard is the primary control device in all modes of Destrocity, but the mouse can also be used to attack. The WASD keys are used to move (with only the A and D keys being used in Meteor Mode). Hold the shift key while moving to sprint. Press the spacebar or click the left mouse button to attack. Once you have unlocked special techniques, you may use them by pressing the 1, 2, or 3 number keys.
