Level Editor: The Game Walkthrough

Level Editor: The Game is a stick figure game based on level editors found in platform games. This stickman game features smooth graphics, a country-western soundtrack, simple controls, innovative gameplay, and forty levels, categorized into four sets of ten based on difficulty level.

The objective of Level Editor: The Game is to guide your stickman to the door on each level before time runes out. As you progress, you will have to deal with more hazards such as spike pits and enemies. Your progress is automatically saved after each level, so you can continue from where you left off the next time that you play. You can also retry levels that you have already beaten to improve your score.

Level Editor: The Game uses a combination of keyboard and mouse controls. The arrow keys are used to control the stickman. Use the mouse to select blocks from the inventory on the right side of the screen. Place them on the stage by clicking. If you cannot place a block in a certain position, a red 'X' will be imposed over the block. If you get stuck on a level and want to reset it, you may do so by pressing the R key. You can press the shift key to euthanize your stickman for whatever reason, but it is quicker to just press the R key if you want to reset the level.

You are given a score upon the completion of each level based on the time that it took you to complete the level and the number of coins that you collected. Collecting coins may take time, but doings so increases the time limit of the level, potentially increasing your time bonus. You will only earn a bonus for coins collected if you collect all of the coins in a level, so it is a good idea to try to collect them all if you want a good score in this stick game.
